overview: the people side

Welcome to this part of your class.

Continuing to build upon the DISC Profiling work you have done in your earlier classes, this goal of this program is to continue to develop your self-awareness and further apply DISC Profiling to working with others and understanding team dynamics for your Integrated Business Clusters Projects.

There are a series of videos and activities included in this program, some are to be completed individually, while others are to be done in your cluster group. The goal of these activities are to enhance communication and build stronger, more effective relationships with those you are working with.

To prepare you for what’s ahead, we’ll cover
  • A refresher of DISC Profiling to prepare you for applying the model to understanding your cluster group members and team dynamic.
  • How to make the best use of your DISC knowledge to create your team contract and be more successful in working together.
  • Understand the key principles of building an effective culture within your team, and the stages of team development.
  • Use DISC to understand potential conflicts that can arise between the styles, and how to manage it effectively.

Welcome video

Please watch the video below to learn more about what you can expect from this component of the class, why we are using DISC Profiling,  and to prepare you to work through these modules under the guidance of your lecturer/Professor.
